A while ago, I impulsively got in an official Pure Romance scratch off sticker order. Catch was that I had to order 1000 stickers minimum and I still have hundreds of them laying around with no particular plans as to what to do with them. Two (3?) years later, I finally dug them up and did my own riff on “Lucky Lotto” tickets.
Book. Scratch. Win. – Booking scratch off tickets
I used some free photopaper I received with a printer ink purchase. I had tried business cards before but didn’t like how the black background looked on the matte surface. I was pretty pleased with the printing on shiny photopaper print though. In the future, I think might have my cards printed by Moo.com since they allow multiple card designs per order.
Like Pass or Play, you can do different prizes on each card. This is what the guest will receive at their party as their hostess gift if they book with you that night. The prize is hidden underneath the scratch off sticker.
I then tucked a card into each catalog before I handed them out at the party. When the guests came across them during the demo, I asked them to just hold onto them until later.
At the end of the party, I explained the hostess benefits and how the card worked. If they wanted to book, they could scratch off the sticker to reveal their gift.
I wanted to make sure I got these all back since I didn’t have a lot of them, so it got me to ask each person individually in the ordering room if they wanted to have a party. (If not, I could then get the tickets back.)
Going to give these a run for a month and see how they do!
